June 2008

FISHIN' FUN
We had lots of fun fishing in the month of June. Here is one of the many fish that Ethan caught. In a 48 hour period, he caught 12 Bass, 2 Croppies and had a Northern on his line, but it got away. Ethan thought that he was "good enough to be on TV."

Poor Karissa she could not catch a fish. She did catch this lovely tree, twice. Here is Daddy, her hero, trying to get it out of the tree. She declared "that fishing was not for her."

Finally, after 3 hours of fishing, Karissa finally caught one.
It was a fun day!

FUN AT THE PARK

Diamond Point Park was recently remodeled and it is so beautiful. We spent many days here just playing and having fun.

Who can resist a slide?

Having fun in the tube.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

Liberty will not descend to a people; a people must raise themselves to liberty; it is a blessing that must be earned before it can be enjoyed.

SPRING RECITAL 2008

Karissa played two songs on piano and violin. She did a wonderful job!

Karissa did such a great job on the violin. She has progressed so nicely!

This was Ethan's very first recital. He wasn't nervous at all.
He played two songs on piano too. Did you notice Ethan's hair?

It was a great group of kids that played that night.

CONGRATS MARK!!

Mark recently graduated from Bemidji State University. After many long night and days, he finally did it. CONGRATS MARK! We are SO proud of you!

Oh What A Bruiser!

Ethan had an accident the other day. His foot caught the carpet of our vehicle and he fell head first onto the cement. It was not a pretty sight.

Over the next 10 days, his eye turned yellow, green and blue. I felt so bad for him.

My Knight and Princess

One raining day, Ethan and Karissa decided to play "Knight and Princess." It was so cute to watch them use their imaginations. I just couldn't resist taking pictures.

My Knight in Shining Armour. The broom was his "super fast horse." I even got a ride on the horse.

The beautiful princess, Karissa. What a fun afternoon we had!
